Thanks for a Great 2007!

Clallam County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue is a volunteer organization that responds to both urban and wilderness emergency search and rescues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in Clallam County. SAR members are dedicated individuals who train in many areas of rescue work including emergency medicine, radio communications, tracking, wilderness search and rescue, and dive rescue. Each volunteer is trained and tested to national search and rescue standards (NASAR) and practices year round to stay proficient for the numerous and specialized tasks they may be required to perform.

To become a member of this organization, stop by the Clallam County Courthouse and pick up an application from the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office. Returned applications will be kept on file and applicants will be notified when positions become available. Application questions can be directed at the email address listed on this website.

Meetings are held Wednesday nights in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) of the Courthouse from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
