Research Seminars and Trips

Seminars

Seminars are day-long events that provide a wonderful opportunity for members and guests to hear notable speakers and experts in their field.  CCGS tries to promote and sponsor a seminar each year as part of our Mission.  There is usually a nominal fee included to cover the expense of the speaker, venue, food, and materials.

Other CCGS  Sponsored Events

In the past we have had members (and non-members) sign up to join us on CCGS sponsored trips. Although we are somewhat isolated on the Peninsula, we live within driving distance of some outstanding genealogical resources:  The Seattle Public Library, the Fiske Library, the National Archives and Seattle Genealogical Society Library at Sand Point, the Heritage Quest Library and State Archives in Olympia, etc.

Depending upon demand and interest (and timing) these trips will continue to be arranged for our members and friends.

Watch the calendar for upcoming events.
