I am interested in
anything you can tell me about the ausser kommando of Flossenburg KZ in
Steinschönau. I cannot find anything about this camp on the web. I know my
uncle was there in September 1944 till he was sent to his death in Leitmeritz
in January 1945. My uncle was German, a political opponent of the Nazi regime.
He was sent to many camps [Esterwegen, Sachsenhausen, Flossenburg, Steinschönau,
Leitmeritz]. I know this isn't the
purpose of your website, but any help you can offer will be gratefully received.
My mother is 78 and frail. It is only recently that we found out what became of
her brother.
