Sherrie Schouten got her first camera at the age of 8, and quickly became the family historian, recording monumental and miniscule moments on film. Little did she know then that she had started on her career path as a photographer.
High school and college courses, seminars and workshops, along with practical application led Sherrie to start her photography business.
Weddings, senior portraiture and dances/proms are known as her specialties. She is renowned for her techniques in outdoor photography. She is a preferred, recommended photographer for the popular Cutting Garden wedding venue. Port Angeles' area professional processor, "Camera Corner" highly recommends Sherrie as one of the area's finest photographers. Shore Color Lab in Indiana uses her outdoor portraits as samples for their processing and printing at Photography conventions.
Sherrie is a true "people person". She treats everyone with warmth, kindness and tact. Her clients are uniformly impressed with how enjoyable the photography experience is when Sherrie is behind the camera.
