About Blind Chess

The Blind Chess list is not a new chess organization; the Blind Chess list is a venue for discussing all chess topics such as puzzles, problems, annotated games and mentoring new players. Our main purpose is to help blind and visually impaired chess enthusiasts become better chess players. There are no dues for the Blind Chess list as there are no costs. If you are relatively new to chess, we will try to help you become a better player. If you are an experienced player, you may be able to help others with advice and valuable experience.

You can use the web form provided below to join the blind-chess discussion list or change your settings if you are already a member.

Instructions for using the blind-chess web form

Simply enter your email address into the email box, select the option desired and press the go button.
For most options you will be sent a confirmation email requesting that you verify your request. To confirm your request, simply reply to the sender (control+r for Outlook Express) without changing the confirmation email.
Some notes about the options:
You must subscribe before you can select other options.
Digest mode accumulates messages and sends them all to you weekly instead of when they are received by the list.
Vacation mode halts messages from being sent to you until you turn vacation mode back off.
Help sends you some help on list email commands.
