Assignment:
This
speech will be how to demonstrate something. It’s up to the student to decide
what skill will be demonstrated. For
instance, if one is talented in woodworking, that student could show the class
the proper techniques to use in building something, whether by physically
modeling it, displaying images, or by showing drawings of it. Or perhaps one is skilled in juggling and
wants to teach the class how to do it.
The actual skill doesn’t matter.
What does matter is that one gets up and not only demonstrates it, but
more importantly, explains it in
words.
This
is not an interactive activity/speech.
In other words, the class should not be participating by doing anything
with the speaker. They are merely there
to watch and learn.
