Denna & Mike McPhee, our Wii is ready! You are invited to come play these
interactive, astoundingly realistic Wii games. We know a lot of us have never
Wiied before. So, Mike & Denna will be available, Wednesday June 10th to
offer some basic training. Come in to the new lounge addition for some laughs
& great fun!

90+ Birthday Bash Celebration
What a great party! Thank you to all who
attended our Older American Month Celebration! Our PASC Ukulele group
provided wonderful entertainment for over 100 people over 50 of whom were 90
or better! Thanks to all our volunteers & the PASC Board of Directors for
making this party a reality. We appreciate Laurel Park’s co-sponsorship of
this fun event!

Continuing Education
Scholarship – Time is Running OUT!
Port Angeles Senior Center Board of Directors
rolls out the first Continuing Education Scholarship for you or someone you
know, who meets the age requirement.
The Port Angeles Senior Center Board of
Directors is accepting applications from Clallam County Residents 45 years of
age and older for their first ever Seniors to Seniors continuing education
award for scholastic year 2009-2010
This $500 may be used for books or
tuition at the college, technical school or community class of the students’
choice.

4th of JULY PARADE
We are planning our entry into the 4th
of July Parade sponsored by Kitsap Bank. This year’s theme is “The Fourth
with Family & Friends”. Volunteers are needed to assemble, decorate,
& ride on our parade float. We also need two parade marshals who pace our
entry Call PASC,
457-7004 & leave your name & telephone number at the desk.
Coffee Lounge
- Volunteers Needed
!!
The sandwiches are made, the soup is hot! We just need a few
more volunteers to help us serve! A ready smile and a congenial attitude,
money handling skills, and the ability to acquire a Food Handler’s Permit,
are all you need to get started in this fun volunteer job! Contact D,

We appreciate the patronage
and support of each person who enjoys our coffee lounge. The Center and
volunteer staff work hard to provide the highest quality coffee, food
products, and service.
The coffee lounge is open
Monday thru Friday from 8 am
until 4 pm and offers
refreshments, snacks, and lunches at nominal costs. The lounge also offers an
opportunity for good social contact and conversation.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Port
Angeles Senior Center Board of Directors is to develop and manage programs to
encourage physical, intellectual, emotional, and social well-being for
citizens 45 and above in a safe and open environment
38 years: Service to Seniors
The Port Angeles Senior
Community Center was completed in 1995
and is cooperatively run by the City of Port Angeles
and the Senior Center Board of Directors. This beautiful multi-purpose
facility offers a complete commercial kitchen, multi-purpose room, dining
room, separate coffee lounge, computer room, meeting rooms, a crafts and
activities room, game room, and poolroom. All programs and services are
self-supporting and the costs vary accordingly.
