The
Bailey Hall Table is innovative in its collaborative use
of materials: the dramatically cantilevered geometry of
the wood is literally balanced by the weight of the
natural beach stone. Furthermore, the design switches
the usual qualities of the materials – the wood looks
sharp and hard, while the organic shape of the stone
makes it seem soft by comparison.
The
Bailey Hall Table is a custom made table. Each version
is unique in its proportions, woods and, of course, the
stone. Customers can select from a beautiful
variety of stones, or can supply one that is special to
them. The one shown is one I found on a local
beach. The farther I walk from the car, the more
beautiful the rocks. This 40 pound specimen is a

Available in Sustainably harvested Ash, Maple, Cherry,
Fir, Black Walnut and Curly Maple.
Dimensions can be customized to suit client needs to
serve as a hall table, console, sideboard, sofa table,
or coffee table.
