Views of the Olympics as seen from the vicinity of Hurricane Ridge. Hurricane Ridge overlooks Port Angeles and can be accessed by a 17 mile drive. From the crest, the views of both the Olympic mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca are inspiring. However, check uphill weather conditions at the Ranger station before committing to the drive, as clouds, fog, and mist not infrequently limit the view.
