The band was formed in August 1997 and evolved from a group of people who met once a week for a music night at a local rancher's home at Cluculz Lake, BC. They decided to form a bluegrass band so they could utilize their talents to produce music using two, three and four part harmonies. The band members are from various musical backgrounds and each brings several years of music experience. They are capable of performing very slow ballads, gospel, bouncy "toe tappin" and "smokin fast" bluegrass music. The main focus is on their vocals with a rich exciting blend of male and female voices. The Ramblers are very committed to Bluegrass music and are always looking for ways to improve their sound by experimenting with harmonies and instrumentation.
