I am Gary Smart owner /operator.

I have been in the marine Canvas/upholstery

business here in Sequim Washington

for 30 + years.

my Basic background was in the Air Force

As a Parachute rigger/fabrication specialist.

Then 5 years for Lockeed Aircraft Service.Co. in Arizona.

As a Survival Equipment Specialist.

At the time going thru community college as

a Home ech. major...Sewing..all types of things..

honing my skills even further.. Then upon my arrival

in the north west, in 1980, I started in the upholstery trade..

The name has changed from Gary’s Upholstery to

Gary's Marine Canvas to Smart Upholstery

finally Smart Custom Canvas

as always, the quality of product and service remains.

I am able and willing to listen to your needs and concerns.

Allowing us to arrive at a plan that will work for you.
