Welcome

Situated in a very quiet residential section of  Uptown Port Townsend, the Hammond House Cottage (1985 construction) sits on its own lot adjacent to the Hammond House, a Victorian home constructed in 1890.  Both structures are but seven blocks to a small business area consisting of several restaurants, coffee shops, an artisan bakery, Aldrich’s Market (Washington’s oldest functioning grocery store), and the public Carnegie Library.  Also nearby are many photogenic Victorian homes and churches.

The Victorian downtown and commercial district are a brisk 15-minute walk through residential neighborhoods. The famous and picturesque Fort Worden State Park is approximately 1 ½ miles distant and may be reached by car in 5 minutes or by city bus (bus stop one block away). It is also “walkable” for the hearty.

Driving directions to nearby locations provided on request.
