Location: The cottage was built in 1984 and is located in the quiet Uptown area of Port Townsend on the corner of Garfield and Pierce Streets, just 10 blocks distant from the town's commercial center. It is a cedar-lined, modern structure, and is adjacent to the Hammond House (a Victorian built in 1890). Access to the cottage is from Garfield Street. The cottage rests on its own lot and has a private entrance. Directions provided upon request. |
Amenities: Large living area consisting of a queen size bed, lounging chairs, wood and electric heat, & satellite television. There is a separate bathroom (shower) which connects with a cedar-lined dry sauna. While there is no kitchen, a refrigerator and microwave have been provided, along with an electric kettle. Safe, off-street parking. Note that there is no telephone. No smoking and no pets, please. Check-in: between 3 and 6 p.m; check-out: 11 a.m. Cottage reserved: May 2, 5-6, 13-14, June 2-3, 9-10,, 11-15, July 18-20, 21-25, 30-31, Aug. 6-7, 12-16, 20-31, Sept. 1-2, 9-11, 15-20. Rates: High season (May
15-September15) $60 for two and $55 for one. On any event weekend (e.g., Wooden Boat Festival), please add $5 to the basic rate. Special rates may be negotiated for stays of longer than one week. |
Payment: As no credit cards are honored, payment to be made in cash, travelers' checks, or a personal check. Cottage reserved for following 2003 dates:
