Please include the Nikon Service Form with your product shipment.  (See link above)

Also, for warranty repair, include a COPY of the original proof-of-purchase (receipt, invoice, etc.) We recommend shipping the product insured via a carrier that provides you with a tracking number. Please enclose the product in a plastic bag and pack it in a sturdy box with several inches of a quality packing material on all sides. Please do not ship the product in its original box, and please send only equipment you wish to have repaired (Do not send batteries, memory cards, lenses, etc unless they are part of the problem.). Keep a record of the model and serial numbers of what you are sending. After your item is received you will get a confirmation notice with a Service Order Number. You can use this number to track the repair status on-line at:

https://www.nikonimagesvcapprove.com/

If the repair is not covered by warranty you will get a service estimate for your approval. You can then either accept the service and agree to pay the repair costs (on the web site) or refuse the repair and your item will be returned to you for a nominal shipping charge. Our service center evaluates each product on a case-by-case basis and every consideration will be given to your circumstances.

If your repair is covered under the Nikon warranty the item will be serviced and returned to you, generally within 7 to 10 business days.
