I have always loved dancing and animals.  In fact, when I was in grade school, the school used to bring everyone together for an assembly to watch my best friend Beth Bilbo and me perform.  She would sing and I would dance.  Most of the time it was a mini musical that we had put together.

 

     I am married to a great man, Steve Bard, and have a lovely daughter, Amanda.  She has blessed me with two grand children, Johnny 6 and Jaden 11.   I have two dogs, a Golden Retriever, Rikko and a Papillion, Tilly ( Little Miss Everything ), so she thinks.

 

     Presently, I own the Brief Encounter Cafe in Bellevue, Washington which I have owned since 2000.   When I was a young girl, I use to make cakes with my Suzie bake oven and then play waitress and sell them to my family.

 

     I started freestyle about two years ago when a friend sent me a video of Carolyn and Rookie and said I should try this with my dog Rikko.  I found Corrine Lawson and started training and joined the Emerald City K-9 Freestyle Dancers.   I have had so much fun with the club.  When not dancing, I enjoy cooking, paddle boarding and taking fun classes with my dogs.
