Li'l Bit, or Bitsy, as we know her, is our third Sequim cat. Now four years old, she was adopted at the age of 12 weeks when Carl and I went to visit the foster home to take photos of the PFOA cats. Bitsy climbed up in his lap, purred and nuzzled, and then we knew she was ours. We went home, and then shortly after, back there to get her. She has proven to be a highly independent cat who absolutely cannot stay indoors. She is gone right now. But she should be back this evening. I hope we have trained her to come in at night and sleep safely in this land of coyotes, cars, and cougars.
