CLALLAM COUNTY GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY

BIBLE RERCORDS PROJECT

The purpose of the CCGS Bible Records Project is to gather and preserve family bible records which have been made available to the Society so that family history researchers (genealogists) may glean information from them that may not be readily available through other sources. These might be, in many cases, the only records that still exist for certain events during certain periods. After these records are published, they will be archived for future generations. Often pertinent church records and even civil records have been destroyed which make it impossible to come up with such information. Contributors should feel pride and satisfaction in sharing their information so that any cousins and others might, in turn, discover an common family history information which could otherwise remain a "brick wall" for them or even could assist them in affirming other existing source information they may have.
