Axle Clean and Press (last man Standing) The athletes will each attempt to clean/continental press/jerk an Axle with wheels from floor to locked arms overhead. Athlete must await referee's 'signal' before returning Axle to floor under control.? The weights are: 140kg/308lb; 155kg/341lb; 165kg/363lb; 175kg/385lb; etc. till there is ONE MAN STANDING. Each athlete has 20 seconds to commence a lift and must sit down after failed attempt; multiple attempts allowed within time limit. Farmer's Carry Medley The athlete will attempt to lift and carry various (pairs of) implements in his bare hands each for a set distance (a pair of 325lb FW suitcases (total weight 650lb), a pair of 385lb FW cylinders (total weight 770lb), and a 880lb frame). Furthest or fastest time to complete course wins. Multiple set-downs allowed. The athlete will have 90 seconds time limit to complete course. Each implement must entirely cross the line before moving on to the next implement, and the finish line. Crucifix Hold The athletes(reverse order of overall standing) will each attempt to lift and hold on straight arms two buckets of dotFIT Performance Powders (approximate weight 30lb each), palms down for as long as possible. Axle Dead Lift (Last Man Standing) Each athlete will attempt in reverse order of standing to dead lift an Axle loaded with: 275kg/605lb; 295kg/650lb; 315kg/694lb; 325kg/716lb; 335kg/738lb; etc. till there is ONE MAN STANDING. Each athlete has 20 seconds to commence a lift and must sit down after failed attempt; conventional style dead lift only; multiple attempts allowed within time limit; ; minor 'hitch' will be allowed, but no resting on thigh or downward movement will be allowed; no straps or other grip aids other than chalk allowed; and Single ply power suit is allowed. Super Yoke Carry The athletes will each attempt to lift and carry a 1,000lb yoke on their shoulders for 40 feet. Single set down allowed. No sliding of implement allowed. Furthest or fastest time to complete course wins. The athlete will have 60 seconds time limit to complete course. Stones of Strength The athlete will attempt to lift and load 6 stones weighing from 310 pounds to 425 pounds onto platforms of various heights. Fastest time to load the most stones wins.1st stone weighs 310lb; 2nd stone 330lb; 3rd stone 350lb; 4th stone 360lb; 5th stone 370lb, and 6th stone weighs 425lb! |
