 Marshall's Review of the event

Tire Flip 900lbx7flips- Tire was an easy flip...but towards the end of the course a camera man stepped in my way which I think caused me to lose a few seconds! I was wicked mad about this but my consolation prize was that the tire did land on his ankle and break the crap out of it! Oh well these things happen...5th or 6th place.

Medley Car Flip, 305 farmersx40ft, 700lb chain drag x 40ft.- Because of my horrible placing in the tire flip I knew I had to do good in this and I was fuming mad so I directed that towards the medley and ended up smashing it in 37.? secs......1st place

Car Deadlift for reps- I kind of actually lost count of how many I was doing...I knew I only needed 18 for the win but somehow I ended up pulling 21 reps.....1st place

Yoke 800lb x 40ft (turn around) then another 40ft- The turn around really threw a kink in the works here but I still managed to put up a good time...I lost this event to Dan Ford but I was wicked happy that I even got that close to his yoke time since he is an awesome yoke walker!.........2nd place

log Clean and Press 300lb wooden log- I knew I wouldn't get Tim Nagy's 8reps and I also knew Dan could probably do at least one more than me so I played it safe and pushed 5.....3rd place.

Stones River Rocks (315, 355, 365, 400, 454)- All I had to do here was load in a reasonably fast time and I had the show locked so I kind of slowed down in the hopes that I would finally load the 454 this year! I didn't load the last stone again but my time was fast enough for.....2nd place.

So I ended up winning the show.

All in all it was a great comp. As always I will say this is probably my favorite show to do! I will miss Glen putting it on and I hope Jamie T. can continue this awesome show. I was really impressed with all the competitors as well, all of these guys have made some serious improvements which means that the show will continue to do better every year.
