Walt was more interested in making art, sort of, and he was also interested in making his animators better. after a wile, he started to like a money a little more than just making good animators and he was more interested in making things that people would like and buy. he started to spend a lot of money on making things better and ddint really care who he stepped on along the way. when he was making bambi, he said that his animators were not good enough to do it, and he said that they were all just "caractureist", even though they are obviously great artists all around. he did not have confedence in them like he would have before. For the most part, WB was always kinda a shit hole when it comes to tech, and all that. but it has always had amazing talent and it seemed like it had a lot more confedence in them than disney had in theirs. they could spend a lot more time and money on only the animators, so, in my opinion, they made better, more intertaining and fun cartoons. disney was like that at first, although walt was never for holding back on the money spending. seems like disney didnt give the animators a lot of artistic freedom, but i suppose this is somewhat inhearitive when you only make feature films as opposed to shorts. the characters in WB are way different, they can be anything they want, they are always changing from one cartoon to the next. Disney, of course could not do this because they only made films after a wile. this was a little different when the disney studio first opened up, mickey for example, changed a lot in each cartoon.
